Yes, all the bags behind us are items that were bought for Sweet Girl and cousin Carolina. Grammy, bought her Bitty Baby, the starter kit and her swing, Emmy and Carolina bought bitty baby an outfit as did mommy. Carolina added to her growing doll collection, which now includes 4 American Girl Dolls and 1 Bitty Baby.
Here Sweet Girl is getting her hands on her new Bitty Baby for the first time. She just loves babies. At home we have a few babies that MawMaw and Aunt Holly gave to her at her party and she just feeds them, cuddles them and pushes them around in her new stroller.
After we had finished up our shopping we went upstairs to the Bristo and had a wonderful lunch with the dolls/babies, they sit in their own highchairs at the table as well. We then had cake for Sweet Girl's birthday and by now she knew exactly what it was. Since this was her third cake this birthday she was ready to dig in. After we blew out the candles they took the cake back to cut it and she pitched a fit until it came back out.
As you see below she had her cake and ate it too, you can also see where her Bitty Baby sat during our feast.
This is now going to be a tradition and we are going to go each year for Sweet Girl's birthday and mix it up for some of Carolina's birthday as well. I love being a mom to 2 boys, the rough and tumble and all the sports stuff but it sure it nice to have a daughter to dress up and do these girly things with.
